Gel polish/Nail art

Ladies. I've been using ECO in India since it was launched. I had to experiment initially but its been super successful there after. All my clients want the color gel or french gel (only 20% take lacquer finish). Here's the steps I follow:
Sanitize, Prep,
Base gel(very thin),
Builder(clear gel),
2nd Builder if required,
very thin Eco color (remember to pull it over free edge to avoid shrinkage),
2nd thin Eco color,
Seal with Clear Gel or UV liquid sealer.
Clients love it
Pls share your experiences. There's always room for improvement.

I used a thin coat on everything and when I use the finishing wipe to remove the tacky layer I have wholes in my gel. I stired, I prepped. I still had to use a top coat because it was not that shinny is this correct.
